F. William Caple

F. William "Bill" Caple is a Managing Director of Corstone Capital.

Mr Caple was integral in the creation and growth of Corstone China activities.Mr. Caple is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities and working with existing portfolio companies on growth initiatives.

Prior to joining Corstone, Mr. Caple was the Executive Vice President, COO and a Director of OTG Software Inc., a public storage and content management software company acquired by Legato Systems Inc (currently EMC). in May 2002. Over a seven year period, Mr Caple managed OTG through two public offerings, multiple acquisitions, and an ultimate sale of the company valued at $403 million. While at OTG, Mr. Caple's responsibilities included devising and implementing strategic finance, marketing, sales and product plans for OTG. Mr. Caple also lead OTG's corporate, business and strategic alliance development initiatives, including M&A activities. While at OTG, Mr. Caple developed and maintained financial and industry analyst relations programs as well as investor and shareholder relationships.

Prior to OTG, Mr. Caple was a corporate transactional attorney, entrepreneur, and business advisor. His legal practice focused on assisting companies with public and private corporate financings, venture capital transactions, M&A activities, international joint ventures, SEC negotiations, reorganization, and various corporate governance issues. During this time Mr. Caple also served as the President of a real estate company wholly owned by his law firm.

Mr. Caple has served on numerous private and public director and advisory boards and has engaged as a principal in a number of entrepreneurial pursuits.

Mr. Caple received his law degree from the University of Baltimore and his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont.
