Edward Rhim

Edward Rhim is a Senior Vice President of investments for Corstone Asia.  With over a decade of private equity experience, Mr. Rhim co-leads Corstone’s investment activities in Korea.

Prior to joining Corstone, Mr. Rhim was a Team Manager for the Investment Banking Division of Mirae Asset Securities in Korea. During his tenure, Mr. Rhim was responsible for establishing and managing private equity investment funds with USD 67 million under management.  Among his considerable accomplishments were the establishment of Mirae’s first mezzanine fund and the build-out of the firm’s private equity team. 

Prior to joining Mirae Asset, Mr. Rhim served as a Director of Core Finance Group, a diversified financial services firm providing financing, corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions advisory.  He led several successful direct investments and mergers and acquisitions transactions including private equity funds of National Pension Fund in Korea aggregating to USD 220 million.

Mr. Rhim holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University.
