Michael Skoff

Mike Skoff is a Managing Director of Corstone Capital, where he is responsible for working with portfolio companies on key finance and strategic planning areas.  Mike is also involved in the sourcing, diligence and structuring of new portfolio investments.

Mike has been involved with public and private technology companies at various stages of development as both an officer and an investor for over 20 years.

Prior to joining Corstone, Mike was most recently the first CFO of a venture backed SaaS company and was instrumental in raising $12 million in equity and $2 million in debt in support of aggressive growth.  Prior to that, Mike was CFO of a mobile messaging company from its founding in early 2003 to its cash sale in 2006.  Formerly, Mike has served as CFO for several entities including an incubator of early stage technology companies, a mobile data service provider, a manufacturer of mobile rugged computer systems. Prior to his operational CFO roles, Mike served as managing director for Corstone from 1994 to 1997.  Additionally, he has held positions with Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Ernst & Young.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University
